Flexible Renamer

Flexible Renamer is a portable application, meaning that you don’t have to install it. Download an archive, extract its contents, and run the Flexible Renamer executable. These are the steps you must go through to get Flexible Renamer up and running on a Windows-powered PC.

Flexible Renamer’s interface can be customized in several ways: display or hide the toolbars, display/hide the status bar, change the fonts used for the interface. Customized or not, the interface is easy to figure out and navigate. It shouldn’t take long to familiarize yourself with it and easily access all the features and functions Flexible Renamer has to offer.

Flexible Renamer can batch rename files or folders by: inserting a number or string; removing a number or string; capitalizing the letters, switching to uppercase, switching to lowercase; replacing part of the name with something else; changing the numbers that accompany the file names; adding or replacing the extension; using a preset.

Flexible Renamer's main purpose is to rename files and folders. I bring this up again only to mention that it can also rename & move, rename & copy, rename & create shortcut, or rename & create hardlink to another folder.
